I hope you all have been enjoying time with family and friends. I have a little gift for you.  The Lonesome Lovers and I just got out of the studio recording a Christmas song I co-wrote with dear friend and Producer, Martin Feveyear and I wanted you all to hear it. I'm still figuring out how to give it to all of you, but in the meantime, I hope you'll take a listen and enjoy a little holiday love from us to you.

It's a holly jolly December and the festivities have already begun.  I love the holidays and the smell of cider and gingerbread, the numerous holiday parties with friends and family, the holiday lights making the neighborhood sparkle and the feeling that a new year is just ahead ready to burst with all it's possibilities.  It's an electric and exciting time of year meant to be spent with those you love and adore.  And speaking of time spent with folks I love and adore, we have some fabulous shows for you lovely people so I'll get right to it before the snowflakes start to fall and Grandpa asks for another nip of the holiday punch...

Friday, December 4th: 9th Annual Tom Waits Tribute Show at the Conor Byrne and Toy Drive for Children's Hospital
The Lonesome Lovers and I will be performing a few songs for the Tom Waits tribute night at the Conor Byrne tonight! This year it is a toy drive for Children's Hospital. Tickets are $10 at the door or bring a new unwrapped toy for the Toy Drive and get in for $5!  Musical conspirators include: Armitage Shanks, The Crying Shame, Clayton Ballard, Orchestre d'Incroyable, Fredd Luongo, Sam Russell, The Foghorns, The Cabarailers, Carrie Clark & the Lonesome Lovers, Miss Mamie Lavona the Exotic Mulatta and her White Boy Band, Randall A. Walker, Dane Ueland AND The Love Markets! Doors at 8:30pm, music at 9pm.

Due to popular demand, The Lonesome Lovers, The Von Piglet Family Playesr and I are performing 4, yes 4 Hootenanny Shows for you all this year! Friday, December 18th AND Saturday, December 19th. 7pm shows for the little kids and 9pm shows for the big "kids". Tickets are just $10, shows are all ages and kids under 12 are free.  We HIGHLY recommend getting a reservation as seats are filling up fast.  Email reservations@ballardjamhouse.com and let them know how many folks and for what date and which show (7pm or 9pm).  Egan's has yummy food, desserts, beer, wine and cocktails so come hungry and thirsty.  We'll have songbooks ready for your singing pleasure, a few surprises and if the mail folks are timely, we'll have Carrol's Caramels just in time for the shows.
