Summer summer summertime show 8/8

Happy summer!

We are in the midst of full on summer with extra long days, warm quiet nights, summer swims and lazy weekends. In the land of CCLL we are excited to dive into another summertime tradition, outdoor concerts. For our friends in the south end, the Lonesome Lovers and I are returning to one of our favorite outdoor venues, the Quarterdeck in Des Moines on Friday, August 8th. Sip a glass of beer or wine in big lounge chairs while we serenade you with songs new and old. This family friendly show starts at 6pm and you'll be home before the sun goes down.

And for those of you who love to plan ahead, Greg and I will be performing in the final show of the Great Women of Folk and Country music series  at the Royal Room on September 4th. We will be highlighting the music of Neko Case, Emmylou Harris, Ashley McBryde and Lucinda Williams with performances by Nancy K. Dillon, Gretta Harley, jean mann, Willow Scrivner, Cami Voss, Amanda Winterhalter and Sheryl Wiser. Curated and MC'd by Sue Quigley, Greg and I will be joined in the band by Aimee Zoe (drums) and Sherri Jerome (bass). Advance tickets are available now.
