Great Women of Folk and Country music series at the Royal Room
Spring has come in roaring like a lioness and with it musical inspiration from amazing women. The Great Women of Folk and Country music series kicks off Thursday, May 30th. Curated by local musician, Sue Quigley, we’ll be honoring Nanci Griffith, Alison Krauss, Brandi Carlile and The Highwomen with performances by local artists, Jen Ayers, Kristin Chambers, Annie O’Neill, Emily Persha, Stefanie Robbins and Carly Toyer. I’m honored to take on the role as band leader with Lonesome Lovers, Greg Fulton (guitar) and Dave Pascal (bass) joining Aimee Zoe (drums) as the band. Hope you can join us!
